The degree of leader-domination in a party determines how much parties change and in response to what they change. Also, government parties change more than opposition parties. Welcome to my website! I am a member of the Young Academy. This project will run until 2019. From August 2009 until January 2010 I was a visiting associate professor in the department of Political Science and Public.

I am an Assistant Professor in Political Science at Trinity College Dublin. My main areas of interest. Include political representation, parliaments, political parties, elections, polls and voting advice applications. In 2011 I defended my PhD thesis. On the democratic mandate of political parties in Great Britain and the Netherlands, which I wrote at Leiden University.
